Before You Build A Business, Build The Entrepreneur: Why Most People Never Awaken the Creator Within
By Coach Tarie | Leadership Expert & Business Growth Strategist

The greatest business idea you may never discover is the entrepreneur hidden inside you. Over the past weeks, we have challenged the common belief that entrepreneurship is merely about starting businesses. Instead, we explore a different philosophy that has transformed how I coach: "Before You Build A Business, Build The Entrepreneur."

I have reached a conclusion: The greatest obstacle to entrepreneurship is rarely outside the individual. More often, it is inside. The greatest business that many people will never build is the entrepreneur that never awakens within them.
The Entrepreneur is Born Before the Business
Success is not something you chase; it is someone you become. Every successful enterprise is simply an extension of the entrepreneur's internal work.
Long before Apple existed, Steve Jobs had become the person capable of imagining it. Long before Amazon transformed global commerce, Jeff Bezos had developed the curiosity, discipline and long-term thinking required to build it. Businesses are therefore born twice: The first birth happens inside the entrepreneur; the second birth happens in the marketplace.
Your business can only grow to the extent that you grow. Your enterprise can only mature to the extent that your thinking matures.
7 Invisible Barriers to Entrepreneurship
Africa Does Not Have an Opportunity Problem
Africa is overflowing with opportunities. Every traffic jam, agricultural challenge, or power shortage represents a business opportunity. The challenge is not that opportunities do not exist; it is that many have never developed the eyes to recognise them.
"Opportunities are not scarce. Entrepreneurial eyes are." Africa's future will not be determined by natural resources, but by the quality of entrepreneurs we develop.
The Weekly Challenge
Build the Entrepreneur First
The world does not merely need more businesses; it needs more awakened entrepreneurs. Perhaps the next entrepreneur who transforms a family, builds an industry, or changes a community is reading these words today. And perhaps that entrepreneur is you.
